Each year between July and August, the Plantagenet city is transformed at nightfall: its Gallo-Roman ramparts, Saint-Julien Cathedral, and medieval alleyways become the canvas for spectacular light projections.

What You'll Experience
The trail runs entirely on foot through the old town. Visitors wander freely from one scene to the next, guided by sound and light creations. Highlights include:

La Nuit des Chimères typically runs from July through late August, Thursday to Sunday. Projections begin at nightfall (around 10 PM in summer) and last until approximately midnight.
Getting There from Our Place
Our apartment is just 10 minutes on foot from the entrance to the old town. No car needed: cross Place de la République, walk up Rue des Boucheries, and you're there. On weekend evenings, we recommend arriving by 9:30 PM to soak in the atmosphere before the crowds peak.

The event is completely free and open access. No booking required.
